Rocky Mountain Power Sends Workers to East Coast

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Rocky Mountain Power officials have sent repair crews to assist in efforts to restore power in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

Sixteen linemen and two managers left Salt Lake City for Newark, New Jersey Thursday.

Nearly 4.5 million households and businesses remain without power. The utility normally provides power for over 1 million customers in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.
