Saints Hand Falcons First Loss Of Season

Drew Brees threw three touchdown passes, two to tight end Jimmy Graham and the New Orleans Saints (4-5) handed the Falcons their first loss of the 2012 season.

With the loss there are no more unbeaten teams in the NFL.

The Saints won for the fourth time in five games and are now back in the the playoff race after beginning the season 0-4.

Atlanta (8-1) led 10-0 in the first quarter before the Saints took the lead in the second on a Jimmy Graham touchdown.

After Matt Ryan hit Tony Gonzalez for a two-yard score, Brees answered back by throwing a second touchdown to Graham right before the half to give the Saints a lead they never relinquished.

Ryan was 34-of-52 for 411 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the loss.  Roddy White caught seven passes for 114 yards.

Gonzalez became the first tight end in NFL history to catch 100 touchdown passes after catching two on Sunday.
