IDAHO FALLS – A semi pulling a 144-foot windmill turbine trailer was the cause of blocked traffic at the southbound Broadway on ramp Thursday.
Idaho State Police said at approximately 4 p.m., an Alabama man driving the 2010 semi attempted to enter Interstate 15 and took the wrong ramp. The driver was unable to negotiate the curve, causing the trailer to get stuck on the guardrail and blocking the ramp.
Officials were able to assist in helping the truck to back up and leave the ramp. Southbound 119 was also blocked in order to escort the truck north in the southbound lanes until it safely crossed the median.
ISP reported no injuries in the accident.
