(NEW YORK) — Shocking news from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, which is reporting the results of a new study that finds making love to be the most enjoyable human activity.
Carsten Grimm, the lead researcher, says psychologists “have proposed that individuals may seek to increase their well-being through three main behavioral orientations; via pleasure, via engagement, and via meaning.”
Those were the three categories that the researchers used to see what activities brought more happiness. Sex ranked first in all three categories. Sex was ranked above drinking alcohol and volunteering.
The least desirable activities were recovering from sickness, using Facebook and housework.
