(OAKLAND, Calif.) — The Golden State Warriors and guard Stephen Curry agreed to a multi-year contract extension, the team announced on Wednesday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Warriors selected Curry out of Davidson with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. In his first three seasons with Golden State, the 24-year-old Curry has averaged 17.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists.
Curry played in just 26 games last season due to a right ankle injury.
