(AUSTIN, Texas) — In their first season in the Big 12 Conference, TCU finally got their signature win.
Matthew Tucker scored two touchdowns to lead TCU to a 20-13 Thanksgiving night victory over Texas (No. 16 BCS, No. 18 AP)
The TCU (7-4, 4-4) defense forced four turnovers in the first half to keep Texas on their heels.
Texas quarterback David Ash threw two interceptions and lost a fumble for the Longhorns, who fell to 8-3 with the loss.
“We missed a great opportunity to get back in the mix for some things,” Texas coach Mack Brown said. “You can’t win a football game when you have four turnovers.” The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Texas.
