The Houston Texans overcame turnovers and the weather while stifling the Chicago Bears in a 13-6 win on Sunday night at Soldier Field.

“I think we showed them we can win any game, any situation, any time, any place, tough weather conditions, tough place on the road, a very good football team,” Houston defensive end J.J. Watt said. “We won, so say what you want.”

The teams combined for six turnovers, with the Texans (8-1) forcing four of them against the Bears. Both offenses struggled to move the ball in a steady rain, but Houston got a two-yard touchdown pass from Matt Schaub to running back Arian Foster late in the second quarter, and made it stand up.

Chicago (7-2) lost quarterback Jay Cutler to a concussion, and had to turn to backup Jason Campbell in the second half. Campbell threw for 94 yards in relief of Cutler, who had thrown two interceptions before getting hit hard and leaving the game.

Foster paced the Texans offense by running for 102 yards on the night. Schaub only threw for 95 yards and also tossed two picks, but the Houston defense held Chicago to 249 total yards.
