It hasn’t been the most pleasant season for the Titans so far in 2012. The team ranks 27th in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game and 30th in rushing yards per game allowed.

“At this time, all aspects of the organization will be closely evaluated, including front office, coaches, and players over the next seven games,” Adams told the (Nashville) Tennessean. “If performance and competitiveness does not improve, I will look at all alternatives to get back to having the Titans become a playoff and championship football team.”

Head coach Mike Munchak is in his second season with the team, but it’s been an inconsistent tenure as of now. He went 9-7 last season, but the team would have to drastically improve to finish with a winning record this season.

The team hasn’t made the playoffs since 2008 and hasn’t won a playoff game since 2003.
