(LOS ANGELES) — Two private memorial services for the late Dallas actor Larry Hagman will be held this week, his personal manager tells Entertainment Tonight.
John Castonia says one service will be held in Texas, and the other will be held in California.
Castonia also notes that Hagman’s wishes were to have his ashes spread “all over the world.” His son Preston will carry out those wishes.
Hagman, who died Friday of complications from cancer at the age of 81, is best known for playing Major Nelson on I Dream of Jeannie and the scheming oil tycoon J.R. Ewing on the original Dallas TV series and its current TNT reboot.
Production on the TNT version will resume on Tuesday, according to E! Online. Producers are working on a proper send-off for Hagman’s character, according to various reports.
