Area Residents Stand in Solidarity With Families of Shooting Victims
Published at(BLACKFOOT) – Residents from around the area are uniting their voices in prayer and remembrance for the victims of Friday’s shooting in Connecticut.
Local News 8 reports people gathered in Blackfoot Friday night for a candlelight vigil near the courthouse. In Pocatello, streets in the university district were lined with American flags, while many Idaho Falls homes had porch lights on in solidarity.
They say it’s a way to show the families of the victims that they’re behind them.
