Ashton Dam Construction Finished

(ASHTON) – Construction on the Ashton Dam is complete, and now officials have begun refilling the reservoir.
Local News 8 reports refilling efforts should be completed by the end of the year, and the reservoir will be open for recreational activities by Jan. 4.
After five years of renovation, the dam started generating power for regional customers on Dec. 10.
