(WACO, Texas) — Baylor (7-5) outlasted (24) Oklahoma State (7-5) in a 41-34 shoot out victory on Saturday. Bears running back Lache Seastrunk capped off his 178 yard day with a 76-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to put his team up 41-27.
David Glidden pulled in an 18-yard touchdown pass with 1:16 left in the fourth for Oklahoma State, but Baylor closed the door after recovering the onside kick.
“The food is going to taste good for the next three weeks,” Bears head coach Art Briles said. “The guys feel good about the way they finished the season.”
Bears senior quarterback Nick Florence was 23 of 39 for 296 yards and a touchdown in the victory.
“To be playing our best ball at the end of year is what you want to do,” Florence said. “We want to carry on the streak and get to eight wins. We’re hot right now and our goal is stay hot.”
