Beer Delivery Truck Drops in St. Anthony Sinkhole

(ST. ANTHONY) – A Budweiser delivery truck got stuck in a sinkhole in St. Anthony Wednesday morning.
The truck was stopped at Dusty’s convenience store when both deliverymen felt the rear end of the truck drop beneath the pavement. What they initially thought was a blown tire turned out to be a sinkhole over four feet deep.
Three hours and two tow trucks later, the deliverymen were back on the road.
Sinkholes in urban areas are usually caused by rainwater erosion beneath the pavement or by broken water lines.
