Ben Roethlisberger Will Start on Sunday

Gregory Shamus/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Big Ben will be back in uniform on Sunday. The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced that Ben Roethlisberger, who injured his right shoulder last month, will get the start on Sunday against the Chargers in Pittsburgh.
The Steelers went 1-2 in Roethlisberger’s absence and are tied with the Cincinnati Bengals for the final wild-card spot in the AFC.
“I think he’s looking pretty good, I was surprised how well he threw it yesterday,” said Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel on ESPN Radio on Thursday. “Obviously getting him back on the field gives us some extra oomph going into these final four games.”
Roethlisberger injured his right shoulder after a Chiefs linebacker slammed him into the turf on Nov. 12.
“He looks like himself for the most part,” offensive coordinator Todd Haley said. “Now I don’t know what he’s feeling when he’s doing some of those things. But it looks like he’s moving around pretty good.”
After the Chargers game, the Steelers will play two out of their last three games at home.
