“The running game was solid,” Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said. “I don’t know how many Knowshon had, but coming off last week where it wasn’t quite as efficient, I know coach Fox challenged the offensive line…challenged the running game. We talked about how we were going to need that down the stretch, and so that was really good.”

Manning had a solid game as well, completing 26 of his 36 pass attempts for 310 yards and a touchdown.

The Broncos improve to 10-3. The win gives them a half-game advantage over the Ravens and Patriots for the two seed in the AFC playoffs.

Denvers’ win ruined Raiders running back Darren McFadden’s welcome back party. McFadden, who had missed the last four games with a sprained ankle, combined for 64 all-purpose yards and a touchdown in the loss.

The loss drops the Raiders’ record to 3-10.
