Either Matt Leinart or Terrelle Pryor will start the game.

Leinart played in relief of Palmer Sunday, completing 16-of-32 pass attempts for 115 yards and one interception.

Pryor, a second-year quarterback out of Ohio State, was in the game for three plays Sunday, completing a pass for five yards, catching a pass for 22 yards and running the ball for two yards.

“Our plan right now is to work both of them this week,” Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said, “and then we’ll see how practice goes. Later in the week, we’ll be ready to name a starter.”

Palmer was hurt near the end of the first quarter when Carolina linebacker Greg Hardy hit him in the back. Hardy was called for a 15-yard roughing the passer penalty for leading with his helmet.

Palmer finishes the season throwing for 4,018 yards, 22 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
