(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) — Receiver Dwayne Bowe was placed on injured reserve by the Kansas City Chiefs Saturday, officially ending his season.
Bowe broke some of his ribs in last weekends game versus the Cleveland Browns.
The end of his season may mean the end of his career in Kansas City.
The 28-year-old is making $9.5 million under the franchise tag this season. The Chiefs could choose to franchise Bowe again, a decision Bowe wasn’t happy with last season, or they could let him become a free agent.
Bowe finishes the season with 59 catches for 801 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games.
