(INDIANAPOLIS) — Chuck Pagano returned and the Colts continued what they did during his absence. Win. Indianapolis made easy of the slumping Houston Texans with a 28-16 victory on Sunday.
Pagano returned to the sidelines for the first time since undergoing treatment for leukemia on Sept. 26.
Houston (12-4) has lost their last three of four headed into the playoffs. With the win, the Colts (11-5) will now have the No. 5 seed in the AFC.
Andrew Luck tossed two touchdown passes for 191 yards with his biggest one to T.Y. Hilton for a 70-yard touchdown. Hilton finished with 111 yards receiving in the rout of the Texans.
Deji Karim closed the door on Houston with a 101-yard kickoff return in the third quarter, which gave the Colts the lead for good.
Texans quarterback Matt Schaub threw for 275 yards, but also threw two interceptions in the loss. Arian Foster recorded 96 yards on the ground with a touchdown.
