(BOISE) – U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo is expected to provide more details about his recent arrest for drunk driving.
The three-term Idaho Republican faces a court date in Alexandria, Virginia on Jan. 4.
On Wednesday, Crapo declined to speak with the press about the incident, but a spokesman says Crapo plans to offer more information about his arrest in the near future.
The 61-year-old ran a red light early Sunday morning and registered a blood alcohol level .03 points above the legal limit.
He spent about 4 hours in jail before his release on a $1,000 bond.
