FBI Offers Reward in Honey Bun Bank Heist
Published at(SALT LAKE CITY) – A pair of robbers used glazed pastries while holding up a bank in Utah earlier this week.
Salt Lake City Police say the pair held up a Zions Bank using Honey Buns. The robbers allegedly placed a package inside the bank covered with blue wrapping paper that they claimed was a bomb.
Police later opened the package to find a box of Mrs. Freshley’s Honey Buns. The pair escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash and both are considered armed and dangerous.
The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to their arrests.
