(EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J.) — Eli Manning and David Wilson had huge games to lead the NFC East-leading New York Giants to a 52-27 bashing of the New Orleans Saints at MetLife Stadium.
Manning threw for 259 yards and four touchdowns for the Giants (8-5), who needed a win to maintain their lead in the NFC East race.
The Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Philadelphia Eagles were all victorious on Sunday, and all three teams won on the final play of their respective games.
Rookie David Wilson returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown and rushed for two more to give him 327 all-purpose yards on the afternoon.
Drew Brees passed for 354 yards and a touchdown in the loss, but also threw two big interceptions right as the Saints were in position to score.
The Saints fell to 5-8 and are all but out of the NFC playoff picture.
