Idaho’s Top Outdoor Journalist Has Top-5 Stories
(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – As 2012 nears its end, Award-Winning Outdoor Journalist Kris Millgate talks about her Top Stories of the Year. She has been a part of Idaho’s Morning News all year with Tim Lewis. She has passionately spoken of her time spent filming a documentary on the Water issues between Wyoming and Colorado on the Green River. This 30-minute documentary has toured all over the west, educating people on the important elements at play there. Kris has spent an enormous amount of time studying Elk, birds of all types and dozens of fish species. She has brought Idaho home to us, given us a sense of the beauty and depth of wildlife right out our front and back doors. How lucky we are.
She is a multi-media expert as she does a weekly TV Segment on KPVI-Channel 6 every week called Time-Out. She writes for the Post Register, Idaho Falls Magazine and more. And she is called upon as a Major contributor to the PBS Program Outdoor Idaho. Her film “Elk Whisperer” won the Top Award Nationally for the Outdoor Writers Association Awards.
Kris says her NEXT wish is to be able to do a solid study on Grizzly Bears. Given how she attacks every story….Look for that one soon!!!
