John Travolta Sued by Alleged Gay Lover over Confidentiality Agreement

Ryan Pierse/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — John Travolta is being sued by a pilot who claims to have had a secret gay relationship with the actor, according to TMZ.com.
The man, named Doug Gotterba, claims he was Travolta’s pilot between 1981 and 1987, and he recently spoke to the National Enquirer about his “steamy affair” with Travolta.
After Gotterba went public with his accusations, he says he received a threatening letter from Travolta’s attorney, Marty Singer, about violating a confidentiality agreement. However, in his lawsuit, Gotterba claims he never signed such a document.
Singer said not only did he sign an agreement — he included the document in his lawsuit.
The attorney tells TMZ that Gotterba simply filed the lawsuit to get his “15 minutes of fame.” He added, “We plan to get this meritless case promptly dismissed.”
