Madison Memorial Disputes Ranking

(REXBURG) – Administrators at Madison Memorial Hospital disagree with a recent ranking that placed the facility among the worst in the nation.
Public relations officials tell Local News 8 the report, which appeared in Health magazine, contained inaccurate information. The data was gathered by Leapfrog, a group of private and public purchasers of health insurance.
Administrators say the hospital’s scores on the Medicare Satisfaction Survey are higher, and don’t use secondary sources.
They say Leapfrog’s report has been discredited by the American Healthcare Association.
