Man Dies From Indoor Soccer Accident

JACKSON, Wyo.) – A Jackson man has died after an indoor soccer accident at the Jackson Parks and Recreation Center on Thursday.
Nicolas Izard, 32, crashed into a wall during a co-ed game. He was later stabilized and airlifted to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center where he died Saturday.
City officials said they’re saddened by the accident and they never imagined something like this could happen.
The department has suspended all further indoor league play through the end of the year as officials look into ways to ensure the future safety of league players.
