Man Jailed After Assaulting Girlfriend

(REXBURG) – A Bonneville County man was arrested in Rexburg early Tuesday after an argument with his girlfriend.
Marshall David Lufkin, 28, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend after she tried to pour out a bottle of vodka. The woman suffered bite marks and other minor injuries.
Lufkin faces charges of felony attempted strangulation, misdemeanor battery, and misdemeanor disabling of a telephone. An investigation is ongoing.
