Man Threatens Mother With Knife

sean mckinney(POCATELLO) – A Pocatello man was arrested Monday for allegedly threatening his mother with a kitchen knife.

Sean Patrick McKinney, 29, was at his mother’s home on Wayne Street when an argument between the two erupted and McKinney allegedly threatened his mother with the knife. McKinney then fled the home and returned to his own residence.

Police attempted to arrest the man, but McKinney allegedly resisted police and even managed to shove an officer into a TV set.

McKinney was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault upon an officer, resisting and obstructing, disturbing the peace, malicious injury to property, and driving without owner consent.

McKinney is now in Bannock County Jail.

According to the Idaho State Journal, McKinney was arrested in November for possession of marijuana and possession of a stolen vehicle.
