(WASHINGTON) — Senators are being invited to a special showing in the Capitol of the recently-released film about Abraham Lincoln.
Senate majority leader Harry Reid is setting up a special showing of the Steven Spielberg film Lincoln for all senators, believing the movie about the 16th president has useful lessons for the current Senate.
Reid has set the showing for Dec. 19, the week before Christmas, and long after many senators had hoped to have finished their work and gone home for the holidays.
No word on who will bring the popcorn.
