(CHICAGO) — One of the NFL’s oldest rivalries will be revisited on Sunday when the Green Bay Packers travel to Chicago to take on the Bears.
It’s a big game for both teams with the NFC North division on the line. Green Bay is up one game on the Bears headed into Sunday and Mike McCarthy wants his team to nip the division in the bed.
“It’s the Packers and the Bears and anytime we play it’s significant,” said McCarthy. “Having a division championship on the line even makes it better.”
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers understands the task at hand.
“Put ourselves in good position, not only for the division but potentially maybe a first round bye,” said Rodgers. “Tough opponent, tough place to play, a lot on the line.”
Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is also ready for the challenge. “It’s Green Bay and we know what’s involved there,” he said. “It’s a game we need.”
