(COLUMBUS, OH) — Ben McLemore led all scorers with 22 points and No. 9 Kansas defeated No. 7 Ohio State 74-66 on Saturday at the Value City Arena.
“This was great. It was my first time playing in an away game,” McLemore said with a slight smile. “You go up and down the court a little bit, and you get into the game. I kept my intensity, I just played my game.”
The Buckeyes (9-2) went on a 14-0 run in the first half and took the lead, but the Jayhawks (10-1) were able to weather the storm and take the lead for good.
Ohio State was led by Deshaun Thomas’ 16 points.
Kansas has now won nine straight since losing to Michigan State on November 13.
