A South Korean news agency reports satellite images show the Unha-3 rocket has been taken off the pad and moved to an assembly line at the Dongchang-ri site, in the northwestern part of the country.

The news comes one day after Pyongyang extended its launch window by a week, citing technical problems.

North Korea insists this launch is only intended to put a weather satellite into orbit. The U.S., South Korea, and Japan say it’s a test of long-range missile technology — something that’s banned under United Nations resolutions.
