(BOISE) – Gov. Butch Otter has announced Idaho will use a state-run health insurance exchange.

The exchange is under the terms of the President’s health care reform law where individuals and small businesses can choose which health insurance they would like from an Internet portal.

Otter was urged by a governor-appointed committee to favor the state-run health insurance exchange.

Otter said his decision should not be taken as an endorsement for Obamacare.
