(IDAHO FALLS) – The city of Idaho Falls will break ground on a new, multi-million dollar event center next year.
Centennial Management Group of Salt Lake City has been named as the facility’s operator. Officials say construction will take about 18 months to complete.
Proposed features include a hockey stadium, business spaces, restaurants and a conference center.
The building will be funded by a 5 percent hotel tax that was approved by voters last year.
The center will be located near Snake River Landing and Sunnyside Road.
