NFL? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1355215952419National Football League(NEW YORK) — The Baltimore Ravens fired offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and replaced him with quarterbacks coach Jim Caldwell on Monday, according to the team.

Baltimore is 9-4 on the year and sits atop the AFC North. They put up 21 first half points against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, but flailed down the stretch and fell 31-28 in overtime.

“My charge — our responsibility as a coaching staff — is to maximize the opportunities for our team to win, and we can still reach all of our goals for this season,” coach John Harbaugh said in a statement.

Cameron came to the Ravens in 2008 after coaching the Miami Dolphins to a 1-15 season. Caldwell has head coaching experience as well, leading the Indianapolis Colts last season and takes over an offense that ranks 18th in the league.

“Obviously, the Ravens offense is the Ravens offense,” Caldwell said. “It’s not a philosophical change. John sets the philosophy here with this team and we follow suit.”
