School District Pays $220K to Previous Superintendent
Published at(BLACKFOOT) – The Blackfoot School District has finally released important documents about their superintendent payout.
The board released details about former superintendent Scott Crane’s $220,000 payout Monday.
The money had been characterized as “consulting fees” for the district, but it’s being used to pay for the remaining two years of Crane’s contract.
Crane resigned earlier this year and has taken a school administration job in Utah.
Former teacher Joyce Bingham, who brought a disclosure lawsuit against the district, said she is bothered that officials would withhold this kind of information from the public.
