(FORT HALL) – Police have recovered a stolen vehicle that contained donations for the Bannock Human Society.

The car had been stolen from a gas station Dec. 13.

Law enforcement officials in Blackfoot identified the car Saturday and attempted a traffic stop. The driver refused to pull over and led police on a chase onto the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.

The driver eventually got the car stuck in the snow in the Ross Fork Creek.

An unidentified male and female were arrested. Police did not disclose how many of the items were still in the car.

More than 2,000 miles had been put on the vehicle since it was stolen.
