Subway Robbed At Gunpoint Through Drive-Thru Window

(IDAHO FALLS) – Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Subway on East 17th Sunday night.

According to police, two employees were robbed around 8:17 p.m. when a man in a white Chevrolet Impala ordered a sandwich at the drive thru. The man was reportedly wearing a black si mask and pointed a rifle at the employees through the window. The thief allegedly pushed the window open and threatened to shoot the employees if they didn’t give him cash from the registers.

Officers later found the vehicle used to commit the robbery on the 500 block of North Fanning. It was determined the car had been stolen.
