Suicide Bomber Detonates Car Outside US Base in Afghanistan

ABC News(KHOST, Afghanistan) — A suicide bomber attacked a base in eastern Afghanistan on Wednesday that is used by NATO troops and CIA operatives.
The assailant blew up his vehicle at the gate of Camp Chapman, near the airport in the capital of Khost province.
Among the dead are at least three Afghan civilians and the bomber.
The Taliban quickly claimed responsibility for the attack.
