(COOLUM, Australia) — Tour Rookie Daniel Popovic won the Australian PGA at the Palmer Coolum resort on Sunday by four strokes over Rod Pampling and Anthony Brown.
The 26-year-old Popovic entered the final round atop the leader board, but a double-bogey on the par-three eight gave Pampling the lead. Popovic regained the lead after Pampling bogeyed holes 16 and 17.
For his victory, Popovic won $225,000.
