Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid announced Monday, that quarterback Michael Vick will likely start the Eagles’ final game of the season versus the New York Giants Sunday.

Rookie quarterback Nick Foles, who has handled the quarterbacking duties since Vick’s departure, broke his right hand during the second quarter of last Sundays loss to the Washington Redskins.

Vick, who has been out since suffering a concussion versus the Dallas Cowboys Nov. 11, has been cleared to play.

“This past week he threw it around well,” Reid said of Vick. “He obviously deserves that opportunity to play.”

Vick has thrown for 2,165 yards, 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions this season. He has also rushed for 307 yards and a touchdown.
