(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — Area law enforcement officials say they’d support a statewide ban on cell phone use among teen drivers. AAA-Idaho pushed for a potential legislative measure Wednesday, modeled after laws currently in place in several states. Local cops say that distracted driving is still a major problem for teens, in spite of a ban on texting while driving that was implemented last year. Ten states have already adopted legislation requiring hands-free devices for drivers of all ages.
