Australian Arrested in Jackson Bank Robbery
(JACKSON, WY) — Authorities have arrested a man who they say robbed a U.S. Bank branch in Jackson on New Year’s Eve. Thirty-nine-year-old Corey Donaldson, an Australian-born American citizen living in Clinton, Utah, was taken into custody Tuesday by federal authorities. Initial reports stated that the suspect had what sounded like a South African accent. He was later extradited to Cheyenne by U.S. Marshals. A witness at the robbery reportedly discovered where Donaldson was staying and promptly notified police. No one was hurt during the heist.
