(BLACKFOOT) – The Blackfoot School Board is asking patrons to support a proposed $2 million levy.
Board members say they need the funds over the next two years to sustain current education levels. KIDK reports the move comes only weeks after the district admitted to hiding a $220,000 payout to former superintendent Scott Crane.
The levy vote will be held March 12.
The board plans to discuss Crane’s buyout in more detail during a public meeting Jan. 17.
