Cars Towed to Make Way for Plows

(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —   If your car was towed in Idaho Falls Tuesday, you weren’t the only one. Wreckers towed 91 vehicles on east-west lettered and numbered streets so snowplow drivers could clean up the roads. Idaho Falls Police made a reverse-911 call Monday warning residents to move their cars, though the call didn’t get to many people using only cell phones. Police issued more than 160 parking tickets for those who didn’t move their vehicles. The city will be plowing north-south streets today.
