GETTY B 12113 Closet? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1358771037966Fuse/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Do you have lots of old stuff lying around the house?  Many of us have old clothes, toys and gadgets that are in good condition, and they could be worth more than you think.

From Craigslist and e-Bay to FashionFile and Poshmark, the Internet has many sites that offer to buy your old stuff.

A new website called thredUP buys used kids’ clothes in bulk.

“They send you a bag, you jam it full of all your baby clothes and you get $20 to $40 per bag,” ABC’s consumer reporter Becky Worley says.

FashionFile, meanwhile, is an app and website that buys used luxury goods. “It’s like a digital consignment store for swanky items,” Worley explains.

So the next time you clean out your closet, consider how much the items may still be worth before you toss them out.
