In November, Angus T. Jones’ infamous online rant in which he called the sitcom that made him rich and famous “filth” went viral, forcing Jones to quickly apologize to show creator Chuck Lorre and others. At the time, the former Warlock said Jones’ “Hale-Bopp-like meltdown” was a sign Two and a Half Men was cursed.

At the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour in Los Angeles Tuesday, Sheen tried to explain Jones’ behavior by telling The Hollywood Reporter, “I get it, it’s a weird place and people tend to have a different perspective on life working over there…I don’t think he’s crazy, I just think he’s a little maybe over-influenced in some other beliefs.” The Anger Management star then quipped, “I like the apology his lawyers wrote for him — that was pretty good.”

Despite his famous flame-out from their old show, Sheen again repeated he’d love to work with Jon Cryer and Jones again, saying, “We’re making an offer right now: Come on over, Angus. He’s a really good kid, I miss him…Come one, come all. [Cryer] is welcome anytime; he’s a genius and I miss him. He’s a good man.”
