Chiefs Welcome Andy Reid To Kansas City
Published at(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) — The Kansas City Chiefs introduced Andy Reid as their new head coach on Monday.
The 54-year-old Reid spent the previous 14 seasons coaching the Philadelphia Eagles, where he compiled a record of 130-93-1. He led the Eagles to an apperance in Super Bowl 39, which they lost to the New England Patriots, 24-21.
“I have looked at this roster and there are some good football players on this team and I look to add to that,” Reid said.
Reid takes over a club that went 2-14 this past season under the fired Romeo Crennel. The Chiefs own the first overall pick in this April’s NFL draft.
