Crapo, Risch Issue Statement on Fiscal Cliff
Published at | Updated at(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch are calling Tuesday’s fiscal cliff resolution a “victory” for working Idaho citizens.
Both congressmen released a joint statement before voting in favor of the bipartisan measure. The Senators say the compromise protects 99 percent of Idahoans and the majority of farmers from a tax increase.
They also caution that Congress needs to work aggressively for more spending cuts.
