Rockets general manager Daryl Morey announced the suspension on Sunday, adding that the team will continue to work with White in hopes of finding a resolution.

White refused his assignment to the Rockets’ D-League affiliate a week ago and has spent most of the season on the inactive list while he and the team figure out how to handle his anxiety disorder that makes him not want to fly.

During training camp, the team agreed to allow White to travel by bus to some road games while he dealt with his fear of flying and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The team drafted White with the 16th overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft after one season at Iowa State where he averaged 13.4 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.
