The Deseret News reports 7-year-old Millie Flamm had planned to attend Justin’s concert Saturday in Salt Lake City until she suffered a relapse two weeks ago.  The newspaper reports her relapse prompted friends and family members to enlist thousands of Millie’s supporters in an online campaign to encourage the singer to meet her.

As late as Saturday morning, Millie’s mother, Amanda, wasn’t sure the meeting with Justin would happen, and didn’t even know if her daughter would be able to meet him because she was running a fever and was on oxygen.

Then, at the last minute, a private meeting was arranged. Millie’s mother tells the Deseret News, “All of a sudden it pulled through and we were able to do a really intimate little meeting with just her and us and Justin and it was incredible and he was so sweet to her.”

Amanda described the meeting to the newspaper, “[Justin] walked in and [Millie’s] whole face just lit up, and she turned around and hugged her dad, and then he ran over and came next to her and gave her a big hug.”

Justin sang his song “Baby” to Millie and gave her a guitar pick. He then gave her a kiss on the cheek before leaving.  The newspaper reports Millie told her mom, “You are never going to wash my face again.”

A photo of Justin and Millie with the caption “Look at this bundle of joy…I love her,” appeared on the singer’s Instagram page.

Millie will continue her treatment re-energized, according to her mother, who added, “I have no words. There is no way to say thank you to everybody who helped make this happen,” she said. “I have no words but thank you, and that’s not enough.”
